The University of Panjab is relocated at Chandigarh due to some issues in the year 1956 and this university is one of oldest and biggest university of India. Panjab university is constructed with in area of 550 acres and more. Panjab University is a university which consists more than 75 research and technical departments which are in this University. As this the biggest university in Panjab more then 191 colleges are affiliated to this Panjab University. This university has the well educated and well experienced lectures in this university. Panjab university is ranked as #1 university in India by the Times Higher Education World University in the year 2013 to 2014.
